Lightening Pitch Guidelines
- Presenters must prepare only a one-slide presentation.
- This slide will have information presented to the audience to pitch their research work. DO NOT include title and affiliation of the author as that slide will be included by the organizing committee.
- Presenters must send their slides in a PDF format to Dr. Surabhi Chandra, suchandra@unmc.edu latest by Friday, Oct 23 @ 5pm CST .
- Time limit for the presentation is 3 min.
- There will be no question-answer session for the lightning pitch.
- Poster number and/or oral presentation time can be included in the slide
Poster Instructions
- The maximum poster size is 36 × 48 inches. Posters may be smaller than this size but should not exceed the specified dimensions.
- Please ensure that your poster is clearly organized, visually appealing, and easy to read from a reasonable distance.
- Posters can be put up on the easel either on Friday, Oct 30 evening or Saturday, Oct 31 morning until 10:30am.
- It will be your responsibility to remove the posters after the poster session.
Hotel Info
We apologize that the organizing committee could not negotiate a block reservation for conference attendees because lodging in Vermillion unexpectedly became very limited for the night of Oct 30th due to a recently scheduled athletic event. Please book your hotel room(s) ASAP if you plan to stay in Vermillion. Nearby cities/towns, including North Sioux City (SD), Sioux City (IA), Yankton (SD), and Sioux Falls (SD), are in normal demand and can be good alternatives. Thank you!
